Etihad Museum shines on thanks to UltraPly TPO
The Etihad Museum in Dubai opened its doors in January 2017. It houses permanent and temporary exhibitions on the history of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its people. The building was designed in the shape of a manuscript, recalling the signing of the UAE’s constitution in 1971.

Elevate’s UltraPly TPO system was chosen to ensure the watertightness of the Etihad Museum’s roof. About 6,000 m² of white UltraPly TPO membrane were mechanically attached over mineral wool.
The UltraPly TPO roofing system provides outstanding performance in the dry and high-temperature climate of Dubai thanks to its excellent UV and ozone resistance. In addition, its outstanding reflectivity contributes to improving the energy efficiency of buildings: the top layer reflects the sunlight before it is absorbed and converted into heat radiation.
