Slovak hotel in historic setting gets water feature lined with PondGard EPDM

In the summer of 2017, about 1,600 m² of Elevate PondGard EPDM lining membrane were used to waterproof a decorative pond at the Masarykov Dvor hotel and wellness center near the village of Pstruša. The hotel’s location is of significant historic importance in Slovakia. Originally a farm, the site has played a significant contribution not only to the history of Slovakian agriculture, but also to meteorology. The lowest temperature ever recorded in the country was measured here in 1929, when it reached -41 °C.
The PondGard EPDM membrane was supplied in various panels sizes to maximize coverage and reduce the number of on-site seams. The large panel sizes contributed to a quick and easy installation, allowing local Elevate partner Barca to carry out the job in just four days.
